Check Requirements + Back Up

IM-Press 5.2.3 requires WordPress 5.9+ and PHP 7.4+ and is tested through WordPress 7.0. Before changing an established site, save a plugin/content rollback and confirm you can restore it. Use a draft for substantial layout work.

Download + Install

Download the current IM-Press ZIP. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the ZIP, install, and activate it. Existing managed installations can receive updates through the licensed WordPress updater.

Choose Blocks or AI Import

For native editing, create a page and use the IM-Press block category: 5.2.3 packages 55 canonical block definitions and the current live runtime registers 25 supplemental blocks as well, for 80 visible block types plus 22 patterns. For an AI-designed page, use the HTML import/preview workflow. Convert to editable blocks where practical; preserve advanced HTML/CSS/JS/SVG only when needed.

Review + Deploy

Inspect the stored preview, links, assets, mobile layout, and browser console. Use normal WordPress updates for ordinary block content. Use Safe Deploy for advanced styled content that WordPress sanitization could strip, and retain its history/restore handle plus your independent backup.

Configure Only the Site Tools You Need

IM-Press includes SEO, schema, sitemaps, redirects, forms, email, media, products, bookings, tracking integration, health, and performance workflows. SMTP configuration is available on all tiers; newsletters, download delivery, and advanced contact-email endpoints require Pro or Agency. If another SEO, form, email, or analytics plugin is active, verify which system owns each rendered output and migrate deliberately.

Connect an Agent (optional)

Open IM-Press → Connect AI Agent. Enable the optional IM-Press agent layer and confirm compatible Abilities functions plus the WordPress MCP Adapter are active if using MCP; then generate a dedicated WordPress Application Password, copy the configuration for your compatible client, and test read-only discovery before authorizing writes. Revoke the Application Password in the WordPress user profile when it is no longer needed.
