Block registration is not tier-filtered in 5.2.3. Other feature gates are uneven, and declared limits are not proof of uniform enforcement. Cross-site work still requires separately connected targets, credentials, rollback, and approval.

Agents + APIs

Discoverable and permissioned

The live 5.2.3 installation registers 306 IM-Press REST route patterns, while the source contains 290 route-registration calls. Counts vary with conditional modules and methods, so live OpenAPI/capability discovery is authoritative. Route presence does not mean an operation is safe to call blindly.

🔌REST endpoints with WordPress capability checks
📘OpenAPI discovery plus route-specific agent safety notes
🔐Connect AI Agent screen and one-time WordPress Application Password generation
🤝Configuration snippets for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and custom clients
🧩MCP use requires the optional agent-layer flag, compatible Abilities functions, an active WordPress MCP Adapter, a WordPress Application Password, and compatible client configuration
🛑Mutating work should remain scoped, reviewed, and reversible

WordPress-Level by Default

Hosting access is a separate privilege layer

IM-Press Core handles WordPress pages, content, SEO, forms, media, Safe Deploy, and agent-facing workflows. cPanel, SSH, DNS, email-account administration, filesystem permissions, OPcache, and emergency recovery stay outside Core. The Hosting Manager page describes a proposed separate companion, not behavior shipped in IM-Press 5.2.3.
